10. I think I have changed in a few ways after reading that book. Firstly I think differently about human responses, I never thought about how when humans find something their unfamiliar with they either react with hostility, or curiosity. I also changed in the respect that I feel that my I eyes are more opened to human degeneration, I see how bad the earth is. I learned of another persons viewpoint on the subject of our race.

12. I would definitely read more books by this author, mostly because of his excellent story-telling skills. I unfortunately have not read any other books by this amazing author. I only just now found out about this amazing Canadian storyteller. I would definitely recommend this book to other people it was so great. there are a lack o good books thes days I am so glad to find this.

12. I would like to read more books by this author for sure. He has a certain writing style that appeals to me; it has a lot of finesse. Unfortunately this is the only book of his that I have read. This seems to be a writer of smaller books, books I don’t usually read in normal circumstances.

4. I would like to become young Indiana Jones from the story. The personality trait about him that I really liked is that is his sense of adventure, in the beginning of the story he was climbing a tower at his school, this is very admirable from my point of view. Also when part of the mine in the story starts to explode he doesn’t turn and run instead he investigates and tries to get to the bottom of it. Although I think he should be a more thorough thinker.

14. My favorite character is Peter Thompson because he seems to have no illusions and see things the way they are. A character I despise is Susan, she’s naïve, thinks she knows everything, and a goody to shoes at that! I she was more o a problem solver and less o a snob I’d think she was a pretty okay person. I think that Peter represents the author.

6. Yes the book leaves many unawnsered questions one of which is , is the point of this book to point out the poverty in the world, the hunger the stupid wastes o money. “like flying to the moon and running the Olympic torch across Canada.” There is another question I have, where did you get your ideas or aliens, pets characters and all that? Do you have other books that could help with my questions?

2. There are quite a few emotions that involve this book I will talk of two. One of my emotions is disgust the book was fictional but there were many things in it that are applicable to life on earth today. For instance they are trying to find a reason for the aliens not to blow up the earth, they went to Africa to see the hunger, then to North America, Europe and the palaces of africa loaded with money feed the hungry. The especially disgusting thing in my opinion is the people spend millions on moon trips, THE OLIMPICS, and other things just to show of how great we are. IT also invokes laughter, it one of the funniest books in p[arts that I have read for a while.

14. My favorite character is Rufus who while not being the main character is the strongest in the book. He drives the soldiers, he keeps them alive and he just sustains them. My least favorite character is Crassus, he’s weak cowardly and has no discipline, and he breaks easily and will rather let thousands die if it saves him. Crassus was a real person to unfortunately and he was as bad as described. This is a historical fiction so it is unlikely any of the characters are based on the author.
